SAVE A TREE BUY CORK
The cork oak (Quercus suber L) grows in extensive regions of the  Mediterranean, most particulary in Portugal, where there are more than 180 million acres of cork forests.

This amazing tree owes its longevity (on average, some 200 years) to a capacity for regeneration unparalleled in Nature: its bark can be stripped off, providing a versatile vegetable fibre wich can be put to endless uses, while back in the forest the tree starts a new 9-year cycle until the next harvest! Uses for cork  are varied and they go way beyond the traditional cork-stoppers preferred by all high quality wines and champange.

Light in weight, resistant to liquids, acoustic and thermal insulator, it is also highly decorative and, above all, recyclable and biodegradable. We have also transformed it into fashion material, giftware, stationery and even jewellery. So if you want to contribute to a greener world....

THINK GREEN - CHOOSE CORK
